Completing Your Site Survey

Once a Site Survey has been created in QwikSell, technicians can easily complete it directly within the app. The guided form ensures that all key business, technical, and infrastructure details are collected consistently — helping your sales and service teams build accurate, data-driven quotes.

Filling Out the Site Survey

From your Site Surveys Dashboard:

  • Select your survey from the list, or click New Site Survey to begin a new one.
  • Move through each section in the survey’s drop-down menu and complete the relevant details for the customer.

The survey includes the following sections:

  • Summary
  • Business Hours
  • Access and Security
  • Employees
  • Internet Configuration
  • Appliances
  • Hosted Services
  • Printers / Peripherals
  • Business Software Applications
  • Servers
  • Workstations
  • Microsoft 365

Each section is designed to capture information specific to that area, making the survey comprehensive and easy to follow.

Adding Notes and Attachments

Technicians can record additional information or customer requests in the Notes section — for example:

  • Potential or requested project installation dates
  • Customer requests or comments shared onsite
  • Additional details not covered in other sections

You can also attach supporting files to your survey, including:

  • Photos of equipment or network setups
  • PDFs of configuration reports or diagrams
  • Scanned documents and reference files

These attachments are stored with the survey and can be accessed anytime for reference or review.

Exporting Your Site Survey

Once the survey is complete:

  • Review all sections to ensure accuracy.
  • Click Export as PDF to generate a formatted version of the survey.
  • Use the exported file during your post-survey meetings to finalize details and build an accurate quote quickly.

Pro Tip

A detailed, well-documented site survey saves valuable time in the quoting process. Always double-check that photos, software lists, and configuration details are included before exporting.
