Peer Review and Approval Process
The Peer Review and Approval Process in QwikSell adds an extra layer of oversight to your quoting workflow, ensuring accuracy and consistency before quotes are sent to customers. When this feature is enabled, sales representatives can submit their quotes for internal approval directly from the QwikSell app.
When to Use the Approval Process
This feature is ideal for sales teams that:
- Require managerial or peer review before sending quotes to clients.
- Need to ensure pricing, discounts, or terms comply with company policy.
- Want a documented internal approval trail for accountability and compliance.
Submitting a Quote for Approval
When your Peer Review and Approval Process is enabled:
- Open the quote you wish to send.
- Click Submit for Approval.
- Select one or more approvers from the list of designated reviewers.
- Approvers will automatically receive an email notification alerting them that a quote is pending review.
Approving or Returning Quotes
Once a quote has been submitted, approvers have two options:
- Approve:
Click Approve to finalize the quote. Once approved, the quote is automatically released and can be sent directly to the customer. - Send Back for Revision:
If changes are needed, approvers can return the quote to the sales representative with a note or comment explaining the requested updates. The sales rep can then make revisions and re-submit for approval.
Email NotificationEach approver on the submission will receive an email notification when a quote requires their review.
Notifications include:
- The quote number and title
- The sales representative’s name
- A direct link to review and approve (or return) the quote
