Manage Site Settings: Quote
The Quote section in Manage Site Settings allows administrators to define the default text, legal disclaimers, and visual branding that appear on all customer quotes generated through QwikSell.
This ensures that every proposal sent by your sales team maintains consistent legal terms, formatting, and brand presentation.
Accessing Quote Settings
- From the main menu, navigate to Administration.
- Select Manage Site Settings.
- Click the Quote tab at the top of the page.
The Quote configuration screen will display editable text fields and a branding image upload option.
Quote Configuration Fields
Quote Text
This section defines the primary disclaimer or legal notice displayed at the bottom of every quote.
Common uses include deposit terms, payment policies, or additional service conditions.
Example Default Text:
Please do not pay from quote; wait for invoice. A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance. Taxes, shipping, handling, and other fees may apply.
We reserve the right to cancel orders arising from pricing or other errors. If applicable, by signing below you agree to the attached Managed Services, Camera, Security, Alarms, Monitoring, Internet, and/or related terms and conditions.
Tip: Keep your quote text clear and concise. Clients should easily understand payment terms and acceptance conditions before signing.
Addendum Text
The addendum field provides space for extended legal or contractual language that applies to ongoing service agreements or financing terms.
This text is appended to the end of your quote PDF when applicable.
Example Default Text:
The following addendum is made to the “Your Company Name) Managed Services Agreement. This addendum does not cover annual subscriptions or consumables. The total cost of the above materials/services plus applicable taxes will be added to the Managed Services agreement…etc.
Tip: Use the addendum text to outline recurring billing, contract terms, or special conditions that vary from standard project quotes.
PDF Header Image
Administrators can upload a custom header image to appear on all exported or emailed PDF quotes.
This helps maintain consistent company branding across all customer-facing documents.
Details:
- Optimal Size: 1166 × 181 pixels
- Accepted Formats: PNG or JPG
- Current Header Preview: Displays the active image currently used on all quote PDFs.
Action Buttons:
- Choose File: Upload a new company-branded header image.
- Save: Applies all text and image changes to future quotes.
Best Practice: Include your company logo, contact information, and tagline for a professional, branded appearance.
