Manage Site Settings: Prospecting
The Prospecting tab within Site Settings allows QwikSell administrators to configure key communication and system-wide settings that impact lead management, sales notifications, and regional configurations for the Prospecting module.
Accessing Prospecting Settings
- Navigate to Administration from the main menu.
- Select Manage Site Settings.
- Click on the Prospecting tab at the top of the page.
This section contains high-level configuration options for prospecting operations, including where marketing notifications are sent and the system’s timezone for activity tracking.
Configuration Fields
Marketing Director Email
This field designates the main contact for all prospecting-related communications, notifications, and escalations.
Emails sent from the Prospecting module (such as new lead submissions or system alerts) will be directed to this address.
Example:
marketing@yourcompany.com
Tip: Use a shared or departmental address (e.g., sales@company.com or marketing@company.com) to ensure no notifications are missed if the primary contact is unavailable.
Timezone
Sets the default timezone for all prospecting activity timestamps, ensuring consistency in reporting and follow-up schedules.
Example:
Central Time (US & Canada)
This timezone is applied to:
- Prospect and pipeline activity logs
- Goal and hustle tracking metrics
- Scheduled reminders and notifications
Note: Ensure the selected timezone matches your organization’s operating region to keep activity tracking accurate.
Saving Changes
After entering or updating information, click Save to apply the configuration.
Changes take effect immediately across all prospecting dashboards and reports.
Best Practices
- Update the Marketing Director Email anytime leadership or sales management changes.
- Verify the timezone setting during onboarding or expansion into new regions.
- Double-check that automated email notifications reach the correct contact by performing a quick test lead submission.
