Manage Site Settings: Pricing

The Pricing section under Manage Site Settings allows QwikSell administrators to set and adjust global pricing rules for all products and services across the platform.
These settings ensure consistent, accurate pricing calculations for every sales representative without requiring manual markup adjustments.

Accessing Pricing Settings

  • Navigate to Administration from the main menu.
  • Select Manage Site Settings.
  • Click on the Pricing tab at the top of the page.

The Pricing Configuration panel will display the current multipliers and ROI settings that determine how product costs are converted into quoted prices.

Pricing Configuration Options

The Pricing page includes three key configuration areas: Pricing Multiplier, ROI Months, and Monthly Service Multiplier.

Pricing Multiplier

Defines how QwikSell calculates markup for one-time purchase products.

  • Minimum Pricing Multiplier:
The lowest multiplier that can be applied to product cost (e.g., 1.25 = 25% markup).
  • Pricing Multiplier:
The standard multiplier used for calculating default product pricing.

Example: If a product’s cost is $100 and the Pricing Multiplier is 1.3, the quoted price will be $130.

Action Button:

  • Update All Product Pricing – Applies the updated multiplier to every active product in your catalog automatically.

ROI Months

Sets the Return on Investment (ROI) range for determining monthly pricing when products are quoted as recurring services.

  • Minimum ROI Months: Defines the shortest term used for monthly return calculations.
  • Maximum ROI Months: Defines the longest term for monthly ROI calculations.

How It Works:
Product cost is divided by the ROI month range to determine the base monthly price shown in quotes.

Monthly Service Multiplier

Controls the markup used for ongoing or subscription-based services (e.g., Managed Services, Licensing, or Rentals).

  • Monthly Service Multiplier: The standard multiplier applied to calculate monthly service pricing.
  • Minimum Monthly Service Multiplier: The lowest allowable multiplier for monthly pricing.

Example:
If a monthly service cost is $100 and the multiplier is 1.35, the client-facing quote will display $135 per month.

Best Practices

  • Review pricing multipliers quarterly to ensure profit margins stay aligned with vendor costs.
  • Use consistent multipliers across product categories to maintain uniformity in quoting.
  • Always click Update All Product Pricing after adjusting multipliers to apply new rates globally.
  • For individual exceptions, users can override pricing on a per-product basis within the Manage Products and Services section.
